Dear University community,
Summer Session II is now underway and we’re also welcoming incoming Freshmen to our Dusty Camp for Orientation today. We’re glad you’re here at TAMIU!
- Find out more on Dusty Camp here.
- Also today, we’re happy to welcome the Consulate General of México to campus for the renewal of continued scholarship support by the Institute of Mexicans in the Exterior (IME) Becas Program at TAMIU.
- This year, 36 students will benefit from the generous support of the IME Becas Program, which also includes funding from Ermilo Richer, CEO of Richer Agencia Aduanal, and from Uni-Trade Forwarding through the Mexican Cultural Institute.
- If heading outdoors during peak heat, please hydrate and apply sunscreen regularly. Hats are a very smart way to add additional protection during this record heat.
Registration for Fall 2023 is underway. The Fall Semester begins Monday, Aug. 28. Here’s more via the Registration Hub.
- Looking for a free COVID-19 Testing Kit? Pick them up at the offices of Student Health and lobby/reception areas in Environmental Health and Safety (inside our Physical Plant) and the University Police Department.
Here’s to a great week ahead, Dustdevils!
