ナノマテリアル
ナノスケール(10^-9 m)の材料は,私達が従来の材料にもつ常識を超えた機能を発現する.光学的・電気的・磁気的性質に対する量子効果は,その特異性の一例である.本研究室では,未知の機能を発見し,そのメカニズムを理解し,その材料を制御する技術の開発に取り組んでいる.その一つとして,スマートDDS (Smart Drug Delivery System)の創製に取組み,医療に応用できる次世代ナノキャリアの開発を目指している.
