Your challenge for the 2022 Adobe Creative Jam is to tell an autobiographical story about your experience as a KSU student. We know you will agree that you really do more than just find a major at KSU. You Find Your Wings™ and prepare to reach new personal and professional heights. Maybe you have found your passion through engaging courses within your major, lifelong friends through student activities, or your voice as part of KSU's community. You get to complete this sentence: Find Your _____, Find Your Wings™
Tips for Getting Started
- Decide how you’ll answer the challenge brief. What’s the main message your video needs to communicate? The concept and purpose must be clearly understood without too much explanation.
- Begin with paper and pencil and sketch out a storyboard.
- Create a shot list to help plan the recording of video footage.
- Get help via Premiere Rush tutorials, user guide, and this digital storytelling guide.
Requirements
- Your video must be assembled and exported from Adobe Premiere Rush with a total running time of no less than 60 or more than 80 seconds.
- Find Your _____, Find Your Wings™ is a registered trademark. If you include the text in your video, you must include the TM trademark symbol.
- Documentaries must contain at least one image or video asset from a copyright free source. You cannot simply save images and videos from Google or another search engine.
- Other people may star in your video, but be cognizant and legally responsible for who and what you film, as it will be shown publicly.
- Your video must be uploaded by the submission deadline (Friday, March 18 by 11:59 p.m.) to be considered for the KSU Jam.
Evaluation of Submissions
- How well does the video solve the presented topic?
- How clear is the point of view and message?
- How well does the idea complement the elements: music, sound effects, visuals, etc.?
- How well does the video production match its message?
