Exams: Quizzes, midterm, and final exams will be available on canvas. You may take them multiple times and without a time limit. Your highest score will be recorded. Feel free to refer back to your articles and notes.

Synthesis: A synthesis in its most basic form is a combination of ideas. In this case, you will combine the assigned source with your own experience and other peer-reviewed sources. Step 1 – read the assigned article(s). Step 2 – Summarize the article in 200-250 words. Step 3 – In another 200-250 words give examples of how this article is useful to you and relates to other articles in the class (for a total of 400-500 words). Step 4 - Submit on canvas as a PDF. At the very least you must cite 2 articles required (more if you used more). All other facts you include in your paper must be properly cited and referenced. If you have had other classes with me please note synthesis are different from annotations, they serve a different purpose (i.e. the content is different) and they are formatted differently per APA. I expect these differences to be reflected in your work. Please upload the synthesis as a word document or a PDF. Grammar review and plagiarism software are turned in, You may resubmit the assignment before the deadline if needed. Peer reviews will be assigned the day after the due date. You must peer-review 2 assignments using the rubric. You can see the assignment rubric *here* and examples *here*
