Reflect on the last time you were in nature. Use your senses to describe the experience. Why is it important to do this?

What kind of seeds do you want to plant? Do you feel a seed has been planted in you, but you need more sun and water to grow? What are seeds in your life that you have seen bloom?

What does mutual aid look like for you? How do we engage with each other? How do we care for each other?

What connections do you see between the film and your lived experiences? And what are the connections within K-12 education?

What is the role of women and matriarchs in movements you’re involved in?

In what ways are we led to believe that events like Standing Rock and Wounded Knee are isolated? How do images ignite or co-opt a movement?

How is the Indigenous movement a transnational movement?

If you were in survival school what subjects would you take? Earth, rights, or spirituality? How are they all connected?

One of the themes in the film is the challenge of navigating motherhood and movement activism. Were there times during the film that you were able to relate to the relationship between mother and daughter?
