Texture
This photo is a classic. It's one of the first assignments in this class that I ever did and it's exactly what it says it is. The lighting and framing of it are good too like it's just a great first picture. It gives you a funny preview of this janga stack of a school.
Portraits
This one is pretty self-explanatory. Look at this guy's pose, the smile, it's just a good portrait. The man could probably sell you anything, he has his bag ready and everything. Just a sophisticated guy who loves the USA look at the shirt.
Field trip to the zoo
When we went to the zoo I saw all of these penguins hanging out and it was so peaceful. They all just look so content standing up there. Penguins are also pretty cute so that's another reason I like this picture. I would want to go back to the zoo because it was so fun.
Still Life
So, first of all, I want one of these. It's such a weird thing but I love it and this photo of it is a good document to remember that it's a thing. I know you can get it at the Renaissance festival. I like the expression this thing is making too it's just great.
Portraits
These two are both great. I don't know where I would be without my friends and family so this picture is also one of my favorites. Both of their faces are so uncanny which makes the picture funny. I think I just like a black background because it really makes the photos better.
Toy pictures
This photo is the one I'm the proudest of out of everything in this class. I took a toilet paper roll and put it over a flashlight to get the spotlight. If you've ever seen the show Seinfeld, it always starts out with Jerry doing a stand up so I wanted to recreate that. I think I nailed it personally and I'm just so proud of how it turned out.
Still life
I really like how this picture turned out. The lighting on the banana looks really good and the black background makes the picture look cleaner. It looks official you know what I mean? There's this photographer named Gareth Paul and this picture reminds me of something he would do.
Small things go big
This is one of my favorite pictures. The button looks so big but it isn't, it's actually really small and I didn't expect it to look as good as it did. Once again the background makes the picture look better I think because yellow pops on black. I really liked this assignment too because it was a fun subject.
Animal photos
This dog is so ugly. It's such an angry dog, every single time we went walking it would run up and start barking. We're not even in its yard why was it so mad? I think this photo captures the anger of this dog really well.
Conseptual Self portraits
Skating is so fun and this board is so cool. I'm glad I could involve it in school somehow because I love skating. I got this board last summer and used it a lot but now it's cold so I can't skate. I like the angle this photo is at too.
Airplane museum photos
This statue is scary and I feel like it was going to come alive. I was scared taking this picture because it's really up close and personal and what if I got grabbed or something? The airport museum or whatever it's called was fun and interesting. There were other scary statues there too.
Outside portraits
I'm going to say this, the best part of this whole picture was the burrito itself. I guess you can't see that's what I'm eating but it was a breakfast burrito. It was really good, it was one of those breakfast bowls but all the sausage and eggs were put into the burrito. This picture is also funny and reminds me of how fun that day was because it was also just a good day.
Conceptual Self Portraits
This is another photo I'm proud of. I thought it would look good if I set the shoes up in some type of way because obviously, I couldn't just take pictures of shoes. I also just like these shoes they are so cool. The lighting of the sun in the background also adds a nice touch to the picture.
Grand Landscape
The clouds in this picture over the mountain look like a painting. It's crazy how beautiful the mountains are and it's just an everyday sight living here. People come from all around the United States to see mountains and the fact that We just live right by them is crazy.
Homecoming Pictures
I was behind the scenes for the set up of the rock band during the homecoming band. It was cool watching them set everything up and warm up for the game. I also thought they did pretty well at the game itself and I think this photo could be used in one of those biography things. Mr. Watson is cool for letting me just be there even though I'm not even in rock band so it was cool to get to hang out with my friends there.
