In this webpage you find out how and why I became a boudoir photographer and what @theboudoirjourney project is about.

Welcome to my photography journey:

December 2014, after a motorbike accident where it almost took my life, I suddenly realized how fast life can be and how the routine and safe zone hold me 30 years at the same place. After 1 year of hard physiotherapy for me to be able to walk again, I got my second chance in life and this time I decided to live for real and pursue things that I really wanted without fear of the unknown. I just bought one-way ticket!

I left my country and my comfort zone in January 2016 and since then lived in 10 different countries and was backpacking around the globe another 22 countries til nowadays. Between these years and travels, I really fell in love with one of my passions, photography! Photos were/are the only way to I can bring a little piece of each country I’ve been that fit in my backpack!

Even without professional cameras, lens or high photography skills, I realized how much I could help the communities with my images. At the start of all, I dedicated my photography to philanthropy projects with NPO’s (Non-Profit Organizations) based in Venezuela.

It didn’t took long to many NPO’s start to use my images to show their projects to the world, I felt that doing something that I love I could really make a change to the world of some people.

At the end, I created my own group of activists to help the NPO’s as much as we could at that moment, it was a really change in my life. After this episode I took a break from photography world, I started working on different jobs and saved money for my next adventures.

Few years later in 2019 I started my biggest backpacking trip and started recording as much memories as I could, because world is just AMAZING! I did backpacking in Panama, Spain, India, Thailand and Indonesia and since then, my passion for travel photography was born. I am so lucky to be able to take photos already in 32 different countries!

Cameras I normally use: SONY A7 III: 28-70mmm multifocal lens, FE1.8 55mm Zeiss Prime lens. IPhone 11 & 13 Pro Max: 13mm, 26mm, 50mm & 77mm lens.

At the same moment that I explore the world more, I met more great people, with unique beauties and curves, with different colors, languages, accents and cultures. Explore the world is amazing but I discovered something even more important : "Explore our own beauty is as important as explore the beauty of the world"

This way from hobby and pleasure of taking pictures of people brought me the amazing feeling of "I can make people happier and more confident by showing them how beautiful they truly are!"

This such of feeling just blowed my mind, one more time, I fell in love for photography, but at this time, boudoir photography. I am lucky enough to have so many friends that wanted to try it and the results were so great that after start to post online my portfolio, it didn’t take long for people start to request and book photo sessions, it happened just naturally, what makes it even more exciting for me.

At the end, I began a brand new career in my life in an unexpected and unplanned way, suddenly I became a boudoir photographer. Nowadays I’m in my most challenging project in life, traveling the world to show how gorgeous we are through my lens with boudoir art, shooting people from different nationalities, colors, shapes and ages.

To make the project even more inclusive for everyone, in 2023 @theboudoirjourney project brought an important new experience, a female photographer joined the team, making easier the access for women who wish to have a boudoir experience but are more shy about posing in front of someone of the opposite sex. “The Boudoir Journey” project is all about to show how big diversity of beauties we have all around the world.

Mostly of people tell me that I have the best work in the planet and I totally agree, do what I love and at the same time meet so many great people, feeling that people trust me so much at the point to let me be the photographer of a session with so much intimacy envolved as boudoir, it’s amazing!
