Skedaddle - St Pietro Island and Antioco Island (Day 5) sardinia, italy

The day started out with both stunning weather and views and who could have thought the weather forecasters would later get their way!

Today we left the mainland of Sardinia and took the ferry across to St Pietro Island where we did a little Island exploring, enjoyed a predominantly seafood lunch with the local specialty of tuna being the popular dish to order.. (Who knew that there were so many ways to serve up tuna!]. It looks like we also just missed the local tuna fair that was about to get underway tomorrow with the town busy with all the preparations.

In the late afternoon we caught the 5:15pm ferry after missing out on a spot on the earlier ferry due to the size, they were limited to only 25 people.. Our destination was the smaller Island Antioco where our accommodation awaited us at the end of the day!
