Course Description

This COURSE is paired with examining u.s. history through media, design, & art. It is available to all juniors enrolled in the history class. it is offered in a hybrid format and will provide the digital media and visual design skills needed to create engaging and meaningful projects connected to the history content.
What we focus on:
  1. Storytelling
  2. Marketing and Advertising Techniques
  3. Targeting and Developing an Audience for Your Work
  4. Advanced Photography, Video, Web, & Social Media Skills
  5. Fundamental Business Principles

Course Overview

Who should take this class

This class is aimed for the student that wants something different than the normal when it comes to 'school.' If you have the passion and want to start or continue developing the skills necessary for success beyond the classroom walls then we want you here. we are looking for people that want to engage with material and ideas beyond just reading and writing to pass a test.

Marketing and Branding

This is for the student that loves to think outside the box and wants to leverage technology and social media to make a mark, who has a passion for creating, designing, entrepreneurship, and all things professional.

  • We have everything you need to create amazing work
  • Some students have their own gear but whatever you need, we probably have
  • We have new iMacs, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canon DSLRs, GoPros and a lot more...

This class is not just an art elective, it is a career technology course where you should develop professional skills and create concrete evidence to demonstrate that to the world. the work you create in here should be stuff you show off for years to come.
