Here is everything you need to know this month!
Community Updates
1. Head of the Global Shapers Community
This month, Natalie Pierce officially takes over as Head of the Global Shapers Community. Natalie has contributed her voice and guiding light to Global Shapers for 6 years. As a true inspiration and skilled ambassador for Shapers, we are so excited for her leadership. Congratulations, Natalie, and good luck!
2. Congratulations, Curators!
It's time to say thank you to our amazing 2021-2022 Curators! This year, you helped our community thrive and changed lives - from the Shapers you welcomed into your hub to the people you helped in your city.
We are also excited to share our congratulations and good luck with those stepping up as Curator from 1 July 2022 - 30 June 2023! To support you on this journey, we are delighted to invite new Curators to both the Annual Curators Meeting (a virtual session for hub leaders in your region on 1 July 2022) and the Global Shapers Annual Summit (taking place in Geneva from 2-4 September 2022).
Make sure that your hub's Incoming Curator is registered for both events, preparing your hub to thrive this year, and cheer them on virtually to maximize the global learning experience!
3. Global Shapers Annual Review
Each year, we ask all Global Shapers to share their unique experiences and perspectives on how to improve our community through the Global Shapers Community Annual Review. Share your outlook on the world, on our community and on your leadership journey in 10 minutes or less before 10 July!
Completing the Annual Review is compulsory for Curators and Impact Officers, for whom there is an additional section specific to your role at the end of the survey (your final review). Curators who complete the review will receive a GSC pin and certificate to their home address as a token of our appreciation.
4. Curatorship Curriculum
Curators, let's reflect on your leadership journey and celebrate everything you have to be proud of! Register for this special session on 28 June (offered morning and night to accommodate all time zones).
5. Impact Council
Our Impact Council is hard at work to make your best practices readily available to all community members. Check out the repository. Submit your own insights to Karen Saez for them to be included!
The Impact Council has an open-door policy and hopes that you reach out with all questions related to impact, impact measurement or project planning. Explore the Impact Council Connect space to ask your questions and contact council members!
