Ready for Retaining Walls
The creek crossing is under construction as of 8/29. The stream bed included poor quality soils and we are having to bring in substantial amounts of rock to stabilize the stream bed before placing the culverts and constructing the walls. Mass Grading is 80% complete and storm is 85% complete and sanitary sewer is 90% complete and water and fire are 60% complete. Additionally, the building pads are being graded and put on finished floor elevation and final house layout plans are in development and will be staked. August has been an extremely wet month in all of Atlanta and we lost approximately two weeks or construction time since late July. The easement with the electricity provider has been executed and the conduit for their lines has been delivered. Their conduit will be installed simultaneously with the walls for the stream crossing. Once the stream crossing is complete, final grading will occur immediately thereafter. Curb and Gutter are scheduled for the end of September.
