A Little Rain Never Hurt
We have another 50 – 60 truckloads of dirt needed to bring lots up to grade after the 500 loads last month. The weather for the past month has been horrendous, with large rain events, snow and multiple days below freezing. Because of this, the curb has been delayed by several weeks but is slated to begin Q1 2023. Our teams are working hard to move things forward despite the weather setbacks. Newton County Sewer and Water made their 16” tap and the Water system is ready for pressure test and inspection.
Right of Way work to begin in early January once we have warmer weather conditions. We are waiting for the second round of comments for the model permit. We are having to create individual site plans for each home building permit and have engaged a draftsman to complete. Our civil engineer will stamp the drawings to meet Newton County requirements.
